Description
The Thermon TraceNet ECM-OS has been designed as an electronic control module tailored explicitly for the Offshore Industry. Its primary function is to monitor and control electric heat trace circuits dedicated to applications such as freeze protection and temperature maintenance. This versatile module is available in a wall (WP) mount version and assumes crucial roles as a temperature controller, sensor, and power connection for heat trace circuits.
Encased in robust stainless steel with an IP66 environmental protection rating, the ECM-OS offers adaptability, serving either as a combined temperature control and limiter or as a temperature controller with selectable low or high-temperature alarms, depending on the chosen configuration. User-friendly rotary switches are incorporated for seamless adjustment of temperature control and limiter set points. The standard ECM-OS version effortlessly communicates on an RS485 physical network using the Modbus RTU communication protocol.
Certified for use in both ordinary (non-classified) and hazardous (classified) areas, the ECM-OS stands as a reliable choice for optimal control of electric heat trace circuits in offshore environments.
