Thermon Terminator ZL non-metallic heating cable termination kits are tailor-made for the swift and trouble-free installation of Thermon heating cables. These non-metallic kits feature an integrated design, offering options with XP pipe-mounted fittings or WP wall-mounting brackets, heating cable grommets, and cable strain relief in a single assembly. The inclusion of screws to secure the covers has been omitted, streamlining cover installation while enhancing security (a Terminator-Lid-Tool is required for cover removal post-installation). Terminator ZL kits are devised to visually indicate an energized heating circuit and can function as either a power connection or an end termination kit. Electrical connections are established in terminal blocks using nickel-plated copper terminals to ensure corrosion-free electrical integrity.
Terminator ZL kits are sanctioned for use in regular (nonclassified) areas and hold certification according to the ATEX directive for application in Category 2 and 3 (Zone 1 and 2) classified areas.
