Description

Thermon TubeTrace Type SP and MP, equipped with a “heavy” steam trace, are meticulously designed to deliver freeze protection or temperature maintenance for both metallic and non-metallic tubing. Specifically tailored for applications involving process analyzers, emissions analyzers, and impulse lines to pressure transmitters, TubeTrace Type SP and MP employ steam or hot liquid as the preferred heating medium.

TubeTrace Type SP and MP’s “heavy” steam trace feature a metallic tracer tube that comes into direct contact with the process tube. This configuration ensures a predictable heat output along the traced tube. The tracer tube and process tubes are securely cabled together, mechanically binding the tubes to prevent separation or migration within the bundle. This guarantees consistent heat transfer and performance along the entire length.

In contrast to field-fabricated and insulated tubing, TubeTrace pre-engineered factory-insulated tubing stands out in providing superior weatherproofing and long-term reliability.
