Description

Providing freeze protection or maintaining process temperatures within a tube temperature range of 5°C to 121°C, Thermon TubeTrace Type SI/MI is tailored for use with “light” steam tracing. This design is suitable for ensuring freeze protection or temperature maintenance in both metallic and non-metallic tubing. It is particularly well-suited for applications with process analyzers, emissions analyzers, and impulse lines to flow or pressure transmitters, where steam or hot liquid serves as the preferred heating medium.

The TubeTrace Type SI/MI “light” steam trace features a metallic tracer tube that remains isolated from direct contact with the process tube(s). This design ensures consistent heat transfer and performance along the entire length of the bundle for both the tracer tube and process tube(s).

In contrast to field-fabricated and insulated tubing, TubeTrace engineered pre-insulated tubing excels in providing superior weatherproofing and long-term reliability.

Features

  • Reliable heat transfer and thermal efficiency
