Description
The Thermon Terminator ZT-C-Ambient thermostat is crafted to serve as a flexible control thermostat, primarily designed for safeguarding against freezing in piping and vessels. Its adaptability extends to functioning as a pilot control for a contactor, enabling the management of multiple heat tracing circuits. Noteworthy for its user-friendly design, the Terminator box facilitates easy access to terminals during both maintenance and installation, ensuring a hassle-free experience as the terminals are positioned outside the box when the lid is opened.
Constructed with a sturdy nonmetallic enclosure featuring a minimum installation temperature of -60°C, the thermostat provides effective watertight and dust-tight protection in compliance with IP66 standards. The external hardware is engineered from stainless steel, further enhancing its durability. Approved for use in ordinary (nonclassified) and hazardous (classified) areas, the Terminator ZT-C-Ambient kit offers versatile and reliable freeze protection.
