Description

The Thermon RTF FlexiPanel is a self-contained, high-performance flexible heating panel crafted specifically for application on fiberglass and plastic tanks or vessels, as well as metallic tanks and vessels containing high viscosity or temperature-sensitive fluids. Engineered to deliver heat outputs at 1,085 watts per square meter or less, the RTF FlexiPanel ensures uniform heat distribution across its entire surface to maintain stable temperatures. The panel’s low-profile flexible design enables swift and trouble-free installation using the seperately available mounting kit.

To ensure multiple flow paths for electrical current, the RTF FlexiPanel employs a parallel circuit design based on a stamped high-temperature alloy heating element. This design eliminates the burnout potential common with series wire-based designs. The robust construction of the RTF FlexiPanel includes a durable metal jacket that provides mechanical protection during handling and installation. Furthermore, the panel’s heating element is shielded from vibration and moisture by encapsulating it in a heat-laminated layer of silicone rubber, offering both cushioning and a watertight seal.
