Description
Thermon’s high-performance KSX self-regulating trace heating cables are meticulously designed for demanding freeze protection applications or process temperature maintenance up to 150°C, specifically where steam cleaning is unnecessary.
The heat output of KSX heating cables dynamically adjusts along the entire circuit in response to surrounding conditions. As heat loss increases due to a drop in ambient temperature, the cable intensifies its heat output. Conversely, when heat loss decreases (due to a rise in ambient temperature or product flow), the cable responds by reducing its heat output. KSX heat tracing cables come with a fluoropolymer (OJ) overjacket, ensuring superior chemical resistance against aggressive organics and corrosives.
Certified for use in ordinary (nonclassified) areas and potentially explosive atmospheres in line with the ATEX Directive and the IECEx Scheme, KSX heat trace cables offer reliable solutions across diverse environments.
