Description

Thermon HTSX self-regulating trace heating cables are designed for maintaining process temperatures up to 150°C or providing freeze protection in environments requiring high-temperature exposure capability. HTSX heating cables are engineered to endure the temperature challenges associated with steam purging, setting the industry standard for self-regulating heat tracing technology through Thermon’s innovative monolithic co-extrusion process.

The heat output of HTSX cables adapts dynamically to surrounding conditions across the entire circuit. As heat loss increases due to a drop in ambient temperature, the cable intensifies its heat output. Conversely, when heat loss decreases, such as with a rise in ambient temperature or product flow, the cable responds by reducing its heat output. HTSX heat tracing cables are offered with a fluoropolymer (OJ) overjacket, enhancing chemical resistance against aggressive organics and corrosives.

Approved for use in both ordinary (nonclassified) areas and hazardous (classified) areas, HTSX heat trace cables provide reliable solutions for diverse applications.
