Description
Thermon WarmTrace HSX self-regulating trace heating cables are meticulously engineered for maintaining hot water supply piping at desired nominal maintenance temperatures. Featuring 1.9 mm² bus wires, larger than any other available system, HSX reduces the number of circuits needed for an efficient electric heat traced system.
Easy Design
WarmTrace simplifies design by replacing complex recirculation networks with a straightforward system. Match the hot water maintenance temperature with the color-coded trace heater for each supply line, and insulate following the design guide. HSX self-regulating heat trace ensures automatic maintenance of desired water temperatures, unaffected by changes in pipe diameters, flow rates, or use patterns. It adapts to variations in ambient or water temperature by adjusting its heat output along the entire length of a heat-traced pipe.
Easy Installation
HSX heat tracing is cut to length and installed directly on supply piping under conventional thermal insulation, using ordinary hand tools. Kits for power connection, end termination, splicing, and other accessories are designed for quick and easy installation. Longer circuit lengths with HSX mean fewer circuits to fabricate, streamlining the installation process.
Economical Operation and Maintenance
WarmTrace replaces recirculation, eliminating the costs of continuously operating pumps and maintaining a recirculation system. It offers potential water savings as heat tracing can be installed up to the point of use, minimizing the wait for hot water.
Components
Thermon provides system accessories tailored for rapid, trouble-free installation of their heat tracing. All trace heaters require a connection kit to comply with approval requirements.
