Description

Thermon FP parallel resistance constant wattage heating cables are designed for freeze protection and process temperature maintenance, supporting temperatures up to 65°C. Suitable for installation on piping, tanks, vessels, and equipment, FP heating cables demonstrate resilience with continuous exposure temperatures of up to 204°C when powered off. All FP heating cables come with a fluoropolymer (OJ) overjacket, providing robust chemical resistance against aggressive organics and corrosives.

The parallel resistance configuration allows easy field termination and customization with user-friendly Thermon kits. FP heat trace cables deliver consistent and reliable heat outputs across various circuit lengths, without the inrush current associated with self-regulating heating cables. This eliminates the need for oversizing power distribution equipment.

Approved for use in ordinary (nonclassified) areas, hazardous (classified) areas, and Zone 2 classified areas, FP heating cables offer versatile and dependable solutions for diverse environments.
