Description

Thermon FLX self-regulating trace heating cables are crafted for freeze protection and process temperature maintenance, accommodating temperatures up to 65°C. Suitable for both metallic and non-metallic piping and equipment, these cables are ideal for applications without steam cleaning requirements. When not in use, FLX heat trace cables can endure continuous exposure temperatures of up to 85°C.

The heat output of FLX heating cables dynamically adjusts along the entire circuit based on surrounding conditions. As heat loss increases due to a drop in ambient temperature, the cable intensifies its heat output. Conversely, when heat loss decreases (due to a rise in ambient temperature or product flow), the cable responds by reducing its heat output. FLX heat tracing cables come with a polyolefin (OJ) overjacket designed for mild inorganic solutions.

Approved for use in ordinary (nonclassified) areas, FLX heat trace cables provide reliable solutions for diverse applications.
