Description

Thermon BSX self-regulating heating cables are designed to deliver freeze protection or maintain process temperatures for both metallic and non-metallic pipes, tanks, and equipment.

The heat generated by Thermon BSX trace heating cables adjusts dynamically along the entire circuit based on surrounding conditions. When the insulated pipe, tank, or equipment experiences increased heat loss due to a drop in ambient temperature, the cable intensifies its heat output. Conversely, as heat loss decreases (due to a rise in ambient temperature or product flow), the cable reduces its heat output. This self-regulating capability enables overlapping without causing temperature upset damage to the Thermon BSX cable.

Certified for use in ordinary (nonclassified) areas and potentially explosive atmospheres, Thermon BSX cables adhere to the ATEX Directive and the IECEx Scheme.
