Description
Isopad IMI-KMV is a factory-terminated heating cable made of mineral insulation. It comprises a nickel-chrome 80/20 heating element and a stainless-steel 1.451/321 metal sheath. The connection joints between the heating cable and cold ends are welded using heavy-duty lasers.
With heating conductor temperatures reaching up to 800°C, this cable is primarily employed for heating elements with unique shapes, pipe trace heating in the chemical industry, form/platen heating, container heating, and specialized heaters for aqueous solutions.
The heating cable is completely watertight and can operate under both high-pressure and vacuum conditions. It is well-suited for transferring large thermal volumes, as a high per-meter load is achievable under appropriate conditions.
