Description
Isopad IMI-KMIN is a factory-terminated, mineral-insulated heating cable comprised of a nickel-chrome 8020 heating element and an Inconel 600 (2.4816) metal sheath. The connection joints between the heating cable and the cold ends are welded using heavy-duty lasers.
Designed for heating conductor temperatures up to 1000°C, this cable is primarily employed for heating elements with unique shapes, pipe trace heating in the chemical industry, form/platen heating, container heating, and specialized heaters for aqueous solutions.
The heating cable is watertight and suitable for use under both high pressure and vacuum conditions. It is well-suited for transferring large thermal volumes, as a high per-meter load is achievable under appropriate conditions.
